layer 1 - mesh
The gusset features a special mesh fabric that traps and seals in leaks and odors . The mesh quickly absorbs moisture, keeping you feeling dry all day long.
All layers have an antibacterial wash to ensure minimal odors are released and also keeps things much more hygienic.
layer 2 - terry cloth
The second layer is an absorbent terry cloth (38% viscose, 37% cotton and 25% polyester) that absorbs the moisture.
layer 3 - terry cloth
The third layer is also an absorbent terry cloth (100% polyester) which is made to absorb thinner liquids better. So this is extra good for everyday leaks.
layer 4 - PU
The fourth layer is a water-repellent fabric (polyurethane) that ensures that you do not leak.
What is the difference between menstrual underwear and incontinence underwear?
Everyday incontinence underwear features an extra layer of terrycloth specifically designed to absorb urine. The underwear is treated to reduce odor, keeping you feeling fresher all day long. The styles are designed to be comfortable during pregnancy. They conform to your body, and it's especially important to have underwear that stays snug during this time.
The Everyday underwear is also ideal if you experience discharge. The gusset is designed to better absorb and reduce odor. Note that the Everyday line is absolutely not intended for blood. For this, there are menstrual underwear.
This way, you can go about your day with peace of mind, with exactly the protection that suits your situation.
what to do in case of severe incontinence?
For more severe incontinence, it's important to use good protection and to have the cause investigated. Incontinence underwear can help you feel more confident, but with frequent or heavy urine leakage, you often need additional support or guidance. By seeking advice promptly and adjusting your protection, you can prevent leakage, discomfort, and skin irritation – and gain more control over your daily routine.
- Use higher absorbency or combine with incontinence pads for extra security.
- Discuss persistent or suddenly worsening urine loss with your GP or pelvic floor physiotherapist.
- Support your recovery with pelvic floor exercises and lifestyle choices (such as less caffeine).
when is incontinence underwear right for you?
Incontinence underwear is ideal if you experience light urine leakage or some extra discharge and are looking for a reusable, comfortable solution. It provides peace of mind in situations like mild stress incontinence, pregnancy, or menopause, when small "drops" are more common. It feels like regular underwear, but offers that little bit of extra support without the need for disposables.
- Ideal for mild urinary incontinence or daily discharge.
- Not suitable for heavier periods or large amounts of urine, then you will need other protection.
- Unsure? Look at how often and how much you're losing; drops or small bursts are the right choice.
frequently asked questions about everyday underwear
What is the best way to care for incontinence underwear?
The best way to keep your incontinence underwear fresh is to wash it before first use, rinse it cold after each use, and then wash it at a maximum of 40 degrees Celsius without fabric softener. Always air dry and never tumble dry. For major maintenance , rinse it thoroughly every few months, wash it with vinegar and, if desired, essential oil (for a fresh scent), and let it dry completely to ensure the layers continue to function optimally.
what types of absorption are there?
The incontinence string is available in one absorption.
- Light, which is equal to 5 ml.
The incontinence hiphugger is available in one absorption.
- Medium-heavy, which in these panties is equal to 13 ml.
The newest everyday panty, the high-waist hiphugger , is available in two absorbencies.
- Medium-heavy, which in these panties is equivalent to 30 ml.
- Heavy, which is equal to 50 ml.
I'm between two sizes, which one should I choose?
Because the panties are made of a stretchy fabric, we recommend purchasing the smaller size in this situation. So if the size chart causes you to be between two sizes, take the smaller size.
what makes it different from menstrual underwear?
The second layer of terry cloth distinguishes menstrual underwear from everyday underwear. This second layer is specifically designed for urine loss and discharge, as it absorbs it better.
These panties are therefore not made for menstruation and blood.
how often should you change incontinence underwear?
On average, panties stay fresh for 8–10 hours, but this varies per person and the amount of fluid loss.
- Change earlier at heavier times of the day.
- Take extra pairs of pants with you for on the road or at work.

washing instructions for menstrual underwear
to wash
Wash your moodies before wearing your moodies . This is very important. You can compare the absorbent fabric in the gusset with a towel: if you don't wash it, it won't absorb moisture.
to rinse
Rinse! After wearing your moodies, rinse them under the tap or take them with you in the shower before putting them in the wash. Don't soak them in water! Then hang them on the edge of the laundry basket until you wash them again.
40 degrees was
Wash at max 40º . Together with your other laundry. Use regular detergent or ecological detergent, but no fabric softener (Please note that most washing pods also contain fabric softener). Instead of fabric softener you can use organic natural vinegar. Spinning is no problem.
to hang
Do not put in the dryer . Hang your pants to dry. It is better not to put your moodies in the dryer because this can cause the technical fabrics in the crotch to lose their effectiveness.
maintenance
Sometimes, after a few months, your panties may need a thorough overhaul . This is especially true if you occasionally notice your panties leaking more easily, or if they're starting to smell a bit more.
A more thorough cleaning every three months will ensure that the Moodies last as long as possible , you can prevent unpleasant odors and everything stays hygienic and clean .
