how does period swimwear work?
A special mesh fabric is incorporated into the gusset that absorbs and contains leaks and odors. This mesh fabric also has a water-repellent layer, preventing moisture from reaching the outer fabric. The fabric is also treated with an antibacterial wash, making it hygienic and preventing odors.
The outer layer of the swimwear is designed to dry very quickly. This is certainly very pleasant after a pool session. The material consists of 82% recycled nylon from other clothing, which prevents it from being processed as waste. The remaining 18% is elastane.
how long can you wear period swimwear?
You can wear the period bikini bottoms and period swimsuit for up to approximately 4 to 5 hours, provided you have a light period or light incontinence. If in doubt, bring an extra pair of bottoms in a storage bag, where you can also keep the used ones until you get home.

what are the washing instructions for period swimwear?
Wash the period swimwear before you start using it.
After use, rinse the swimwear when you get home. If you rinse the bottoms thoroughly with some soap, you don't need to wash them daily. After 2 or 3 days, wash at a maximum of 30 degrees, do not use fabric softener and do not tumble dry.
