Are you excited about brand building, creative campaigns, AI, smart content, and activations that truly make a difference? At Moodies, we're looking for a Brand Manager to further grow our brand: someone who can think strategically, dares to be creative, and most importantly, is eager to execute plans.
Moodies is a fast-growing and sustainable D2C brand in period underwear, underwear for light bladder leakage, and period swimwear for women and girls. Our mission is clear: to empower women and girls with more confidence at every stage. We break taboos surrounding menstruation and light bladder leakage with products that are beautiful, comfortable, reusable, and reliable.
The foundation is set. Now we want to make Moodies even stronger and more top-of-mind for women and girls in the Netherlands and beyond. That's where you come in.
Your role
As Brand Manager Growth & Activation, you are responsible for how Moodies feels, sounds, is seen, and grows. You translate our mission and brand values into strong campaigns, content, activations, and creative ideas that resonate with our community and contribute to growth.
You will work closely with Claire, Bente, the marketing team, designers, content creators, external partners, and freelancers. You maintain an overview, bring structure, come up with ideas, and ensure that plans are actually executed.
You contribute to building a sustainable brand with social impact. A brand that not only sells products but also addresses taboos, helps women and girls feel more confident, and contributes to a world where menstruation and light bladder leakage carry less shame.
What will you do?
Brand marketing & storytelling
You monitor and strengthen Moodies' brand identity across all channels. From campaigns and mailings to social content, product launches, PR hooks, and activations.
You devise creative concepts that align with our mission, such as campaigns around menstruation, period swimwear, light bladder leakage, girls, sports, taboos, sustainability, and self-confidence. You ensure that Moodies remains recognizable, honest, warm, and distinctive.
Creative campaigns & activations
You develop campaigns that incite people to action. Think product launches, awareness campaigns, topical content, collaborations, events, community activations, and smart actions around important moments.
You have a feel for what moves people, but also for what converts. So you don't just look at "beauty," but also at impact, reach, engagement, and growth.
AI, content & smart workflows
You see AI as a way to work faster, smarter, and more creatively. For example, you use AI for campaign ideas, content formats, prompt development, ad variations, email flows, SEO input, social formats, or creative briefings.
You don't have to be a technical AI specialist, but you enjoy experimenting with it and applying it practically in marketing, content, and growth.
Social, community & content formats
You contribute ideas for our social strategy for Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and other channels. You devise formats for Q&As, UGC, reviews, challenges, behind-the-scenes, educational posts, and campaign content.
You understand that Moodies not only sells products but also builds a community around recognition, honesty, sustainability, and self-confidence.
Managing content team
You manage an intern who helps with content creation for social media, blogs, mailings, and campaigns. You provide direction, create clear briefings, and ensure that all content aligns with Moodies' tone of voice and brand identity.
You help the intern grow in brand sensitivity, creative execution, and creating content that resonates with our community.
Growth & optimization
You look at data, customer insights, and results to continuously improve campaigns and content. You contribute ideas on retention, email, landing pages, product pages, funnels, and conversion.
You don't have to execute everything yourself, but you understand how brand and growth come together. A strong brand needs to feel good and deliver results.
Making sustainability & social impact visible
Moodies is built on a more sustainable alternative to disposable products. Our products are reusable and designed to give women and girls comfort, confidence, and freedom of choice.
Additionally, we value social impact. We collaborate with organizations and initiatives that are committed to combating period poverty, breaking taboos, and ensuring access to good menstrual products. You help make these stories visible in a way that feels honest, human, and not too heavy.
This is you
- You breathe brand, content, creativity, and growth. You are energized by building, testing, adapting, and improving.
- You preferably have experience with D2C, e-commerce, lifestyle, fashion, beauty, health, wellness, or another consumer brand. You think strategically, but also enjoy hands-on execution.
- You are someone who takes ownership. You don't wait for everything to be perfect but set things in motion. You can translate ideas into concrete campaigns, briefings, content plans, and actions.
- You have a feel for language, visuals, social media, community, and brand experience. You understand how to make a brand warm and human, without it becoming too slick or commercial.
- You are curious about AI and enjoy exploring new tools and working methods.
- And perhaps most importantly: you enjoy building a sustainable brand with a mission that goes beyond just selling.
What we are looking for
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in brand marketing, growth marketing, content, social media, e-commerce, or campaign development.
- Experience with D2C/e-commerce is a strong plus.
- You are creative and practical.
- You can write well or at least judge what strong copy is.
- You have a feel for social media, campaigns, and community building.
- You find AI interesting and enjoy using it to work smarter and faster.
- You are independent, proactive, and enjoy getting things done.
- You are available 4 days a week, 3 of which in the office.
- You enjoy mentoring an intern and helping them grow in content creation.
- You feel engaged with themes such as sustainability, menstruation, women's well-being, self-confidence, and social impact.
What you get from us
- An important role within a fast-growing sustainable brand with a clear mission.
- Plenty of freedom and responsibility to help build Moodies.
- Room to experiment with campaigns, AI, content, and activations.
- A dedicated team with short lines of communication and lots of energy.
- A 4-day work week, 3 of which are in the office.
- A salary between €3,000 and €4,400 gross per month based on full-time, depending on knowledge and experience. For 4 days, this will be calculated proportionally.
- On office days, you'll have lunch with us for free.
- The opportunity to contribute to a brand that breaks taboos and gives women and girls more confidence.
