layer 1 - mesh
The first layer is the layer that is in contact with the skin.
A soft sports fabric (94% polyester / 6% elastane) that quickly wicks away moisture, keeping you feeling dry.
This layer has undergone an antibacterial wash which means it does not produce odor and can be worn hygienically for 8-10 hours.
layer 2 - terry cloth
The second layer is an absorbent terry cloth (100% polyester) that disperses the moisture.
This layer has also undergone an antibacterial wash.
This makes it hygienic and hardly any odor is released.
layer 3 - PU
The third layer is a water-repellent substance (polyurethane) that ensures that you do not leak through.
the layers
The crotch of the moodies contains 3 extra technical layers of fabric and yet the crotch is only 2 to 3 mm thick. The combination of these layers means that our menstrual pants are super absorbent, do not leak and still provide a dry feeling for 8-10 hours, without the need for sanitary towels, tampons or a cup.
menstrual underwear for girls
Period underwear for girls is specially designed for new periods, growing bodies, and added security during school, sports, or sleepovers. It's soft, fits well, and provides a secure feeling, even if you're not yet sure how your cycle is progressing.
Why is period underwear ideal for teenagers?
Period underwear is perfect for girls who are just starting their period. No need to fiddle with tampons or worry about pads slipping. It looks just like regular underwear, but offers the protection you need. This means you won't feel anxious or uncomfortable on your period at school or on the go.
Many girls also appreciate that period underwear is sustainable and reusable. You wear it, throw it in the wash, and it's ready for next time. That saves clutter in your bag and gives you a very relaxing feeling.
extra security during sleep and sports
For girls worried about leaking while sleeping, period underwear is a game-changer. Just put it on before bed and you can sleep soundly through the night. Even during exercise, the underwear stays perfectly in place and is comfortably breathable, allowing you to move freely.
heat and menstrual pain, how does that help?
Heat can be a real lifesaver for period pain. Heat relaxes the blood vessels in your lower abdomen, improving blood flow and reducing muscle tension in the uterus. This helps soothe cramps and calm your body.
Many girls instinctively place a heating pad on their belly, and that's not surprising at all. Heat is a natural, quick, and pleasant way to take the edge off period pain. Combined with soft, comfortable period underwear, you often feel a little freer and more relaxed.
how often should I change my period underwear?
How often you need to change your period underwear depends on your flow. On average, you can wear it for between 8 and 12 hours. On lighter days, you often keep it on all day, while on heavier days, it's good to change it in between.
If your period underwear still feels dry and comfortable, you can continue wearing it. If you're unsure, a clean pair of underwear is always a good idea. For nighttime use, it's best to choose a higher absorbency level so you can sleep worry-free.
After wearing, rinse it with cold water and throw it in the wash. Ready for the next round.
can you exercise during your period?
Exercising during your period is often easier than you think. In fact, exercise can actually help with symptoms like cramps and a heavy feeling in your abdomen. Exercise increases your blood circulation, which reduces muscle tension and often makes you feel more energetic.
Period underwear is incredibly convenient because it stays in place, doesn't chafe, and you don't have to worry about leaks while exercising. Whether you're running, dancing, doing gymnastics, or playing soccer, it gives you the freedom to do what you want.
If you want to swim during your period, you can, of course. With period swimwear, you can enjoy the water without worry, without tampons or other hassles. So you'll never have to skip a pool or the sea because you're on your period again.

washing instructions for menstrual underwear
to wash
Wash your moodies before wearing your moodies . This is very important. You can compare the absorbent fabric in the gusset with a towel: if you don't wash it, it won't absorb moisture.
to rinse
Rinse! After wearing your moodies, rinse them under the tap or take them with you in the shower before putting them in the wash. Don't soak them in water! Then hang them on the edge of the laundry basket until you wash them again.
40 degrees was
Wash at max 40º . Together with your other laundry. Use regular detergent or ecological detergent, but no fabric softener (Please note that most washing pods also contain fabric softener). Instead of fabric softener you can use organic natural vinegar. Spinning is no problem.
to hang
Do not put in the dryer . Hang your pants to dry. It is better not to put your moodies in the dryer because this can cause the technical fabrics in the crotch to lose their effectiveness.
maintenance
Sometimes, after a few months, your panties may need a thorough overhaul . This is especially true if you occasionally notice your panties leaking more easily, or if they're starting to smell a bit more.
A more thorough cleaning every three months will ensure that the Moodies last as long as possible , you can prevent unpleasant odors and everything stays hygienic and clean .
