Your feedback is our compass
When I was first sent a pair of period underwear, before Moodies existed, I thought: What is this? Granny panties with a thick gusset—who would be happy with that? There must be a better way, I thought. That’s why we were one of the first brands in the Netherlands to create period underwear with an improved gusset, and invested in design and fit. All so people can truly love their underwear.
To make this happen, we listen carefully. To reviews, messages, questions for customer service and comments on our online channels. We make ongoing changes based on what we hear. Not just to the underwear itself, but to the website, too. So you can quickly and easily find what you’re looking for.
That’s how our range has grown so much over the past five years. From period underwear to period swimwear, three styles of thongs and underwear for light bladder leaks.
A real solution to a real problem
In my view, we don’t talk about the last one often enough. Many women experience bladder leaks after giving birth or as they get older. Sometimes every day, sometimes only when exercising or after an unexpected sneeze. It’s completely normal, but it often doesn’t feel that way. We want you to be able to jump, run and laugh without giving it a second thought. That’s why expanding into incontinence underwear was a natural choice for us. And here, too, we believe these styles should look just as good as the rest of your underwear drawer.
Ready for their first period
Your first period. Exciting, unfamiliar and often at exactly the wrong time. That’s why I think our period underwear for girls is so important. A pair they can simply put on in the morning, just like any other underwear. No pad to sneak into their bag, no worrying during PE. And yes, we think it’s important that it looks cute, too. If your daughter chooses her own pair because she likes how it looks, it’s easier to talk about all the changes she’s going through. That helps make getting your period feel completely normal. Just as it should be.
Swimwear: our annual highlight
And then there’s the swimwear. Such a joy to work on every year. Designing prints, choosing colors, moving things around until everything feels just right. The best part comes later: hearing that girls and women can get back to swimming. On vacation, at the pool or on a school trip. Whether they have their period or not.
Choosing quality
And let’s be honest: it’s not always easy to stand out. There are plenty of brands in the market offering huge discounts. We’re taking a different approach. Because we believe in quality: in a gusset that delivers on its promise, in comfortable fabrics, and in designs and colors that make you happy when you open your drawer. That’s exactly why we see a bright future for Moodies.
Building together
The best part is, I don’t do it alone. We now have an amazing team full of ideas and inspiration. Trust us, you’ll be seeing a lot more of us.
And I do it together with my life partner, Miguel. Working together isn’t always easy, but it’s a lot of fun—most of the time. We respect each other and talk through the big decisions. Everyone on the team has a say, and that input genuinely makes Moodies better.
One extra-special detail: my daughter and a colleague’s daughter have been our models for five years now. But they’re also loyal fans. There’s no better seal of approval.
More than just underwear
