Bamboo fabric is soft, feels nice on the skin and is also better for the environment because less water and pesticides are needed for the production of bamboo. The fifth panty is a cheeky model that is very nice for under sportswear, leggings or under your normal clothing. Because the edges of the panties are glued, you will not see them under your clothes. These panties are small, which is why you receive a size larger than all other panties. And our new model, the string in skin color. String light: our new model without visible seams. Invisible under all your clothes. This string has a light crotch, can absorb up to 1 tampon or 5 ml urine loss for 8-10 hours

Hipster super: A nice cool panty with a soft lining in the entire panty. Fits well and covers the buttocks almost completely. Made of bamboo fabric which makes the panty feel soft, comfortable to wear, and is better for the environment because less water is needed for the production of bamboo. heavy absorption; can absorb 5 to 6 tampons of blood or 35 ml of urine loss for 8 - 10 hours.

Boyshort heavy: A super relaxed and cool pair of pants. The waistband has elastic that does not pinch. These pants reach the hips so there are no seams visible on the buttocks. They are made of bamboo, which makes the pants feel soft, comfortable to wear, and has a lower impact on the environment. Average to heavy absorption; can absorb approximately 4 tampons of menstrual blood or 20 ml of urine loss for 8-10 hours.

Material outside fabric is: 95% viscose bamboo / 5% elastane
Gusset 1st layer: mesh 94% polyester / 6% elastane
2nd layer: terry cloth 100% polyester
3rd layer: PU (polyurethane)
RUCO-BAC is used for the antibacterial washing of the first and second layers. This is a thoroughly tested biocide that is used to kill bacteria. This protects the skin and mucous membranes against inflammation and infections and prevents unpleasant odors.
This washing is permanent and is not harmful to the skin.

After use, rinse the pants with cold water before washing them.
Wash at max. 40 degrees. Allow to dry after washing and the pants can be used again.
Do not bleach, do not soak, do not use fabric softener, do not tumble dry or iron.

What exactly is menstrual underwear and how does it work?

Moodies are underwear that can collect menstrual blood and light urine loss, so you no longer have to use sanitary towels, tampons or other means of collection.

Moodies uses technical fabrics in the crotch that absorb and disperse moisture and ensure that you do not leak through. There is a nice sports fabric against your skin that allows moisture to pass through easily and ensures that it feels dry.

These are all breathable fabrics, which have an antibacterial wash, which means that hardly any odor is released and it is very natural and hygienic.

how many moodies do I need to get through my period?

That of course depends on how often you wash, but assuming that is 1 or 2 times during your menstrual period, we estimate that you will need 4 to 5 pairs of pants. Check our blog for more information about this.

How often can you use and wash moodies menstrual panties?

If the washing instructions are followed, moodies will last at least 50-60 washes, so depending on how often you wear them you can use them for at least 3 years.

when should you change menstrual underwear?

With an average period you can wear moodies for a whole day or night (8-10 hours). But every period and every body is different, and if your flow is intense, the cross cannot absorb it all at once. Then choose heavy or heavy-overnight absorption, sometimes with an additional solution such as a tampon or cup.

We recommend trying it first for a day when you are relaxed at home, so that you can really experience how it works for you. And a trick: if the seams in the crotch become damp, it's time to change!
